Astronaut’s polished surface gives him a distinctively smooth feel and allows his pieces to slide easily together. When taken apart his pieces are a bit abstract, but they make sense quickly as he is assembled.
Locknesters puzzle sculptures are digitally designed, 3d printed, then sanded smooth. Each piece is hand-sanded, tumbled and buffed. During the smoothing process, the surface takes on a distinct coloration, making each piece unique. Finished and sealed with a water-based topcoat. Made in Brooklyn.
MATERIALS: High quality, American-made plastic. No toxic chemicals used in production.
